Sarah Marmolejos is a senior at Wake Forest University, majoring in Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Since the Fall of 2021, she has been working on a research project centered on creating a high-resolution dataset for vapor pressure deficit (VPD). This project has contributed to her budding interest in atmospheric science and climate dynamics, as well as the technology used to monitor and understand Earth's atmosphere. She has a particular interest in satellites, remote sensing, and various meteorological instrumentation. As a first-generation college student, Sarah hopes to further contribute to the diversification and inclusion of perspectives in STEM by actively promoting diversity.
