Maya Kinyatta Tyson

Maya is a fifth-year undergraduate student in a dual-degree engineering program. She recently studied mathematics at Spelman College and is currently studying Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Maya has ambitions of changing the trajectory of the youth in her community through exposure to resources and providing authentic guidance on navigating opportunities and obstacles met during her journey. In providing said counsel, Maya hopes to bridge a powerful connection between students of color and the STEM field.
