My name is Marquel Ollivierre, and I am a third-year aerospace engineering Major at Georgia Institute of Technology. I have always been passionate about and curious about planes and spacecraft, which fuels my hobbies like plane spotting and drone flying. As a Georgia Tech African American Male Initiative member, I hope to spread African American culture and capability throughout the aerospace engineering industry. I love passing down information to the younger generation, and I hope to gain experience throughout this fellowship that will allow me to foster black academic success. My time at Ursa Major will be thoroughly used to develop connections and expertise, all towards the path of having an impact on the community.
