Meet Lordina O. Mensah, a driven and ambitious first-year student at the University of Kentucky. She is pursuing a dual degree in mechanical engineering and information communication technology. Lordina has a passion for spreading knowledge about steam and inspiring young people to see themselves as a part of that world. As an intern at Bradley Laboratory, she is gaining valuable hands-on experience by helping to build learning modules that integrate music and science in order to introduce scientific topics to middle school and high school students. Additionally, as a member of the NSBE, she is connecting with like-minded individuals who share her passion for engineering. Lordina's ultimate goal is to expand STEAM education opportunities for children everywhere and make a meaningful impact in the field of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
