Caleb Woldemichael is a dedicated student at the University of Colorado Boulder, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Passionate about bridging the gap between health and technology in developing countries, Caleb is deeply engaged in both academic and extracurricular activities that contribute to his field. Through his involvement in CU Boulder's Uplift Research Program, Caleb has gained hands-on experience in medical technology innovation, focusing on the robotization of colonoscopy devices and advancing robotic systems for cochlear implant surgery. His technical expertise spans Arduino programming, CAD design, coding, and woodworking skills he actively applies to projects such as his carnival-style racing game in his engineering projects course. This project won the design expo and was later donated to a local middle school, showcasing Caleb’s commitment to both engineering excellence and community engagement. In addition to his engineering pursuits, Caleb works as an AP Chemistry tutor, providing mentorship and academic support to students through the Campos Scholars program. His passion for education and mentorship reflects his dedication to helping others succeed in STEM fields. Caleb’s proactive approach, combined with strong problem-solving and leadership abilities, positions him as a driven and resourceful individual ready to make meaningful contributions to the engineering industry.
